Week of January 26 - 30 Activities:

• Stay warm and safe this weekend. Please ensure that students come to school dressed appropriately for the weather, including warm coats, hats, gloves, and scarves.
• 7th-8th Grade Scholar's Bowl starts Monday, Jan. 26. We wish our students and Coach Mendenhall the best at their competitions. Thursday, Jan. 29 is our first home meet starting at 4:30. 
• 8th Grade will take NAEP assessments Tuesday, Jan. 27 at 9:30 am.
• Happy Kansas Day on Thursday, Jan. 29. Did you know Kansas became the 34th state in 1861?
• 8th Grade parents will meet Thursday, Jan. 29 at 7:00 in the CES library to plan end of year activities.
• Friday, Jan. 30 is our second $1 per item Dress Down Day sponsored by the Colwich Odyssey of the Mind team. See the below flyer for details!
• Thank you to everyone in our community and beyond that have contributed to our Book Blast event! Your support will help students take home as many books as possible, up to 10 each. In our quest to promote literacy and reading, every new book is like gold to be treasured!
